Important Info
DAY OF ARRIVAL
Proceed to the Welcome Centre at Simbithi MAIN gate for fingerprint & biometric registration prior to going to the house.
Only the drivers listed on the Short-Term Access Form will need to go inside reception for a brief orientation and fingerprint & biometric registration access.Please bring your original ID for this process.
If you would like to add any additional drivers over and beyond what was originally listed on the Short-Term Access Form. The first two guests to be fingerprinted are paid for by the homeowner.
If you have stayed in the estate before then your fingerprint will be re-activated.

Monday to Friday 7:00 - 17:00

Public Holidays & Sundays are CLOSED
Should you arrive after reception has closed, then please let us know and we can send you a temporary access code which will allow one entry and one exit before midnight. You can then go to the Welcome centre the next morning to get your registration done.

Enter through the North Gate, around the cirlcle on to Umvumvu Drive, straigh on until you will find nr 55

Please WhatsApp your LCE Rep to request a visitor’s access code. You will be allowed a max of 4 codes per day. Each code will allow 1 entry & 1 exit before midnight.
BEACH ACCESS
The estate offers guests a beach gate at the end of Trimeria Walk on The Eco side of the estate.
This is a pedestrian-only gate and access is via your fingerprint only. Please park and walk.
Thompsons Bay is around a 200-meter walk.

Please Note: there will be scheduled visits from contracted pool service and gardeners. These visits are essential to ensure that the amenities and outdoor spaces are in top condition for your enjoyment. The pool service and gardeners will have limited access to the yard area during specific times.
BACK UP POWER
In the event of power failure, Rechargeable lamps available.
Also have a solar geyser for warm water as long as it's a hot day.
Additional gas hob for cooking and boiling extra water and rechargeable lamps.
DB BOARD
DB Board is located in the garage
WATER
BIBO Bar in the kitchen press blue button for cold water. Hot water has a safety function and you need to press the unlock button and then the red button to dispense hot water. If the machine has been in sleep mode the hot water needs to boil and won’t dispense
until this function is completed. Any button will take the machine out of sleep mode.
OVEN & GAS BRAAI ON PATIO
If the power goes off the oven’s digital screen will have numbers flashing, press the centre button that looks like a clock for a few seconds until the numbers stop flashing and the oven will switch on.
There are 2 gas bottles outside, one is full and the other one is in use.
To turn the gas on the valve is in the first cupboard next to the wine cooler, turn the valve in line with the pipe (vertical) and switch it off facing horizontally.

House Rules
Understanding and complying with our house rules will ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone. Please treat our home with the same respect as you would your own. We’ve put a lot of effort into creating a lovely space for our guests to enjoy.
BE RESPECTFUL
The staff are key to a successful holiday and the efficient running of your holiday home. Please treat them with the utmost respect at all times. We will not tolerate any mistreatment of our staff.
Regretfully, our staff are unable to babysit, wash cars, do shopping/unpack shopping, or perform tasks beyond their designated duties.
OCCUPANCY
The maximum number of persons occupying the unit at any time must not exceed the number of beds. A maximum of two guests per bedroom is allowed unless the homeowner has provided extra beds.
Camping on the property is NOT permitted.
DON’T FEED THE MONKEYS
Under no circumstances should you feed the monkeys—whether adult or baby!
Please be aware that monkeys are inquisitive and can become aggressive.
Don’t leave fruit or food within their sight—they will come inside, create a mess, panic, and potentially break items.
Close all windows and doors when leaving the house.
NO SMOKING
No smoking is permitted inside the house. Please smoke outside, away from windows or furniture.
NO PARTIES
Parties, overcrowding, or excessive noise are strictly prohibited. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in immediate eviction without a refund of rent.
Guests will be liable for any damages incurred as a result of parties held at the rental home.
BEACH TOWELS
Please do not use bathroom towels at the beach. Beach towels are provided for this purpose.
NO BEACH SAND IN THE POOL
Wash off all sand before entering the house or pool after visiting the beach.
Please do not rinse beach sand off in the pool.
LEAVE AS FOUND
Accidents happen, so please report any breakages or damage to our team. If anything is broken, it must be replaced “like for like” by the guest to ensure a full refund of the breakage deposit.
BE ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS
Use linen and towels sparingly.
Please conserve water and electricity. Turn off fans and air conditioning when not in use.
Recycle where possible—let’s care for our planet together.
Do not flush foreign materials down the toilet.
GUEST AMENITIES POLICY
We kindly request that all guest amenities, such as hand wash and toiletries, remain on the property for the enjoyment of future guests. Should any items be taken or removed, the cost of replacement will be charged in full.
FIREWORKS PROHIBITED
For the safety of all guests and neighbours, fireworks are strictly prohibited on the property.
SIMBITHI ESTATE RULES
Please obey Estate Rules at all times, this is a family estate and there is no tolerance for noise or rowdy behaviour! No drones allowed.
Golf Cart - drivers must have a Driver's Licence.
Kingfisher Community Centre and the family Heron Community Centre. Both centres with pools and fun family activities.
Please note that not all Simbithi facilities are available to visitors/guests.

Please comminicate your check out time with our team or the house staff the day prior to departure.
KEYS
Please make sure you leave any keys & remotes with the staff,
or communicate with us where you left the keys.
LEAVING EARLY?
Please switch off all lights, and airconditioning, and close all windows.
STAFF OVERTIME PAYMENT
Please remember to settle any money owing to the staff (overtime, additional laundry, tips etc.)
must be paid directly to each staff member in (ZAR) cash.
Should you fail to pay in full, this will be deducted from your holding/breakage deposit.
