HOUSEKEEPING

Included in your rental 7 days a week (excluding public holidays)

For more info on our housekeeping services, hours and laundry, please follow this link to our Housekeeper's page for duties and responsibilities.

Please Note: there will be scheduled visits from contracted pool service and gardeners.

These visits are essential to ensure that the amenities and outdoor spaces are in top condition for your enjoyment. The pool service and gardeners will have limited access to the yard area during specific times.

BACK UP POWER

In the event of power failure, rechargeable lamps are available in the bedrooms.

In case of major power outages, the generator will be manually started by the staff and this will power the following: lights, plugs, Wi-fi and alarms.

There is a gas hob in the kitchen with gas kettle to allow guests to cook and boil water as well as a gas/charcoal braai outside to allow for cooking. Some of the plugs in the front of the kitchen won't function, but the staff will know which plugs can be used and will use extension cords to power other items if need be.

Freezer will be on but the fridge in the front not, Gabriel can use an extension to plug this in at the back. Bar fridge and ice machine will work. Kettle can be used but moved to a different plug point, but we do advise again to make use of the gas hob for boiling water during outages. Coffee machine might work but to be moved to a different plug point. Ask Gabriel.

Non essential items such as air-con units, washing machines, tumble drier, dishwasher, iron, oven, microwave will not be connected. One geyser will be connected for hot water.
